Hit_Sqd_Ack 0 Posted May 9, 2007 I have a pretty descent system and for some reason I get very poor FPS. I owned the German Version and now the US Version of ArmA and have occured the same performance out of both. When I start ArmA I get the following error: CmdLineExtInstallerExe.exe - Illegal System DLL Relocation The system DLL user32.dll was relocated in memory. The application will no run properly. The relocation occurred because the DLL C:\\WINDOWS/system32\SHELL32.dll occupied an address range reserved for Windows system DLLs. The vendor supplying the DLL should be contacted for a new DLL. Current Specs: WinXP-SP2 Pentium (D) 3.2GHz 2.00 GB Ram GeForce 7950 GT 512MB ArmA Mark: 824.66 1st test 1010.94 2nd test 1356.72 3rd test The only thing I can figure that causes all the lag is the dll error I keep getting. If anyone can help I would apprecaite it. Thank you in Advance. - Ack
troop 0 Posted May 10, 2007 There was an problem with an recent security patch by microsoft which triggers this error, if certain programs are started. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/935448/en-us (Realtek Audio Control Panel, for one) Did you install their latest drivers off their website? MB vendor ones tend to be outdated. You need to download an hotfix from MS, to get rid of this. http://www.microsoft.com/downloa....lang=en You need to change the language to 'Deutsch'
