ARMA no longer recognises track-IR

hey guys,

ive been using arma with my track-ir since i had the game, and no problems. until now. tonight track-IR went weird on me, so i uninstalled software. rebooted, re-installed drivers/software for track-IR.

but if i load up arma, it no longer recognises it

is there something in the one of the configs that i have to change to enable it (i mean by in "computer folders"..not in game SETTINGS) i looked at both of them, but i may have missed it. if it IS in one of the config settings, what should in the line for the track-ir config? im assuming it would be a "1" as to be used and a "0" for not to be recognised..correct?

i posted at naturalpoint as well. it might be on thier side of the software, and not arma related. but if you could help. thx!

apparently, its not my night to game...

first off, i start track-ir, load up comms, then join arma online.

join server...and wait...and wait..and wait. when it gets to mission recieve file. it STOPS at 238....out of 900 something. log out. log back in...and wait and wait and wait. yeaaaaa. finally loads up. get in game. track-IR no longer running. uninstall, re-boot, re-install. still not working in game. (but works in other games) un-install ARMA. RE-INSTALL arma...download 1.05 patch...midway thru patch...power has surge. lights go out, computer tunrs off. lights go on. redownlload patch. grab new patch, and start patching. now it says "Update 1.01-1.02\ADDONS\AIR.PBO.UPD cannot be applied, error xdelta3 returned error code: 1" FUCK it. "ignore" the problem....keep installing.....pow. lights go out AGAIN for a milisecond.

AAAAAAAAAARRRRRRGH. ::jabs fork into neck:: video games make me do baaad things::

so..i have to download again, cause of this pbo .air thing. no telling if track-IR is going to wrok yet or not..sigh.this suxxorz :: end rant::

Btw;..I have issues with my MSSWFF2 not beeing detected

correctly sometimes in its USB port

(unplug/replug registers it again)...did you try to juggle

your Track-IR to different port(s) and then reinstall the software?

yeah, finally got it to work. after trying several things, just decided to delete both arma, and track-ir.reboot. reinstall track-ir first, then arma. then patches. reboot. worked .

FIXED.
