Problem patching 1.85 to 1.96

i install flashpoint goty edition onto my computer and once its installed i run the 1.96 patch

as the patch starts running it comes up with errors

such as:

error found in file/mission/ ratnest

error found in file/ addon/ bizon

and many more appear like this and this prevents me from installing the 1.96 version of flashpoint

i have also tried using other discs after completely unistalling flashpoint, i have 3 legal copys of flashpoint and all of them are doing this on the patching
