Anyway to do 1 key press for 2 actions

Ok i have a button on my mouse that i use to crouch with, but i also want to use the same button to stand with. I know i can set this up so its like 1 press to crouch and then double press the same button to stand, but i get confused with this in the heat of battle. I want to be able to press 1 for crouch and 1 press again to stand from the crouch. So is there anyway to do this?
