Chrisuk27 0 Posted March 27, 2007 ...I would like to say I have the 'silver bullet' solution, unfortunately not many people will try this option. I have not been able to run this game since buying it the day it came out in the UK. On monday I finally got it to work after, many emails to 505 and lots of rebooting reinstalling etc etc. My solution...I spent some money (quite a bit) and bought a mobo combo. See my old specs of : AMD Athlon 2.4 XP XP Pro 1 Gig RAM DDR extreme gamer XFi 7600GT didnt seem to cut it despite meeting the requirements and the guys at 505 wondering what the hell was going on. My new combo of: AMD Athlon 64 x2 Dual 4.2Gig ASUS mobo 7600GT 2 Gigs DDR2 extreme gamer XFi runs Arma no problem, see not the quick fix you may have thought of (hoped). But it shows if all else fails it may just be your system that needs changing.
