Recommended Posts

Hi all guys, this is my first post on the forum and i hope it won't be the only.

Somedays ago, i got in touch with Arma, reading something on the net; so i decided todownload the demo from the websyte and start play the game, but dugirn the installation i got a problem.

At the end of the installation it seems that the game isnt working, then it says that the installation has been successfully completed, but when i try to launch the game it says: YOU DON'T HAVE INSTALLED D3DX9_30.DLL TO SOLVE THE PROBLEM TRY TO REINSTALL THE GAME.

I have tryed it 6 times but nothing happens.

I've installed Windows Vista, do you think is this the problem?

Please help me.....

Thanks.

Install DirectX 9.0c. Vista has DirectX 10, but ArmA needs 9.0c. You can have both installed, don't worry.

Do worry about the drivers for, well, every part of your rig. Vista and games don't seem to like each other very much so far.

And make sure, you download the DirectX 9.0c >February 2007<

release. There are several older ones, which do not include the file.

If you plan on downloading the redistributable, that is. smile_o.gif
