alx 20 Posted March 19, 2007 If I am in the guner's position, nothing seems to fire the guns. Nor can I target anything. If I turn out, there is still no way to fire the guns or target. If I am in 3rd person view, I can shoot the guns (left mouse click) but the targeting is almost impossible. Usually in order to get the crosshairs to bear, the view has reached the ground and will go no further, plus your target is obscured by the Stryker itself. Am I missing something, or is this yet again an example of an incomplete game? Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Chi 0 Posted March 20, 2007 This happens to me also and I have seen it mentioned in other forums. If I am in the gunners position inside the Stryker I can see the instrument panels but pressing the optics key does nothing. I end up with a static crosshair on the screen and a moving one. When turning out the gun is there in front of me but again no iron sights and unable to fire. If I go to 3rd person view I can fire but the Stryker is in the way and targeting is impossible. This seems like a bug to me and have yet to find a solution or an indication that BI will address and fix it. Ta Chi Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Maddmatt 1 Posted March 20, 2007 If you struggle to go to the iron sights on vehicles, then have a button on your keyboard assigned to the optics - but not assigned to anything like zoom/lock. Numpad 0 should already to that by default. Seems the game mixes things up and thinks you are trying to lock on to something when you use the right mouse button with the default layout. Chi 0 Posted March 20, 2007 Thanks, that works. I have my right mouse button set to optics/zoom/target. It works fine for everything else but the .50 cal version of the Stryker and the cannon version. The TOW version goes to optics using the right mouse button so Im baffled why those two wont. I hope BI fix this as in the heat of battle I will forget that it is a different key. Annoying but at least I can use the Strykers now. Pity my right mouse button now does not target anything when using those two Strykers. Cant have everything I suppose. Thanks again Chi Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
