SilverBullet8 0 Posted March 8, 2007 Hi, i just installed the game by disk and then was told my HDD was a bit full (too much music lol) so there wasnt just the odd old game i could remove for some space so i may have removed something i shouldn't have in add/remove in the end it begins to start up then goes back to windows and a error message says "Failed to read the shader cache file. Missing or broken shdc file?" i don't know anything really about files deeper than my WoW addons folder :P so i don't have a clue what it wants! lol so if any half smart people are reading this and know wtf a shdc file is help would be much appreciated thanks Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Maddmatt 1 Posted March 24, 2007 Uninstall then reinstall the game. If you bought a download version then try a re-download. This may be a different problem though, try updating your graphics card drivers and getting the latest DirectX off the Microsoft site. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
