Roy019 0 Posted March 2, 2007 Since I am playing on 1.04 I have this unbroken yellow chain in my down right corner. It's not the broken yellow chain everybody experiences sometime but it is unbroken. I don't know what it means, i guess it means my connection is bad but I have 3 computers running ArmA now and only mine is having this issue. I have tried diffrent router ports, a diffrent cable, but no succes. So hopefully someone knows a solution or at least the meaning of this unbroken yellow chain. I rarely have games where this chain isn't showing and it mostly happens as I join the server already. Sometimes it dissappears during the game and later comes back up. whisper 0 Posted March 5, 2007 Red is when you're in a really bad network state, usually high desynchronization (30000+ or so). Unbroken red means you don't recieve updates from server anymore. If possible, in said cases, I'd advice to immediatly go hide in a corner and wait that the situation gets better network-wise. You'll suddenly see plenty of messages "XX has been killed", "YY joined", etc... all at once, meaning that the server as started to send you usable information again. then the desync (you can use P to bring up user list, and highlight your name to know your desync) will fade away, eventually.
