killacom 0 Posted March 1, 2007 hi i recently got a BFG 8800GTS 640mb it seems like it could push more FPS out of it but i am pretty sure it is gettin bottle necked my specs are: P4 3.2 HT 8800GTS 640mb 430 PSU 1 GB DDR 2 775 Foxconn motherboard also if it is could someone point me into the direction of a CPU and Motherboard (if Needed) i have tight budget so the cheaper the better Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
madmossy 0 Posted March 1, 2007 P4 is a huge bottleneck for the 8800 series, even a c2d 6300 at stock speed doesnt provide enough grunt to really push an 8800 to its limits. If your really after something to utilize your 8800 to the fullest you need to aim for something along the lines of the c2d 6600+ and overclock the crap out of it.
