Single Missions (1st) Game bug makes character die

It is the "Blood, Sweat & Tears" mission.

I have destroyed the tanks at the airport and the team switch dialog is shown. I choose character.

If I choose no 2 I get to see a Black Hawk doing a yo-yo thing and then I die.

If I choose Mike (no 1) I get a chopper ride where I am supposed to shoot at something(?) and then the chopper gets shot down. Then there is a cutscene where I see a rusty burnt out Black Hawk doing the funky chicken stunt (yo-yo again) then I die.

I also get a Divide by zero exception which is visible in the topleft corner. There is an if clause and some script language by the looks of it.

What to do??

After patching the game to 1.05 I managed to complete this mission.
