spelk 0 Posted February 18, 2007 I've just installed ArmA UK retail and I run it for the first time and it gets through the CD check, and into the check-boxes load up, but bangs out with a Windows System Error when the checks get up to, but just before the last two check boxes. The error is in Arma.exe and Winmm.dll. Pentium D 3.40Ghz, 2Gb RAM, Win XP Home SP2. NVidia GeForce 7900 GTO. I've tried updating the NVidia drivers, making sure latest DirectX is installed. Disabling the Avast Anti-virus scanning software. Uninstalling the game and re-installing, to no avail. Any help just getting the game started would be much appreciated.
