problem when starting up the game

hi all i have just got the english version of the game and i've installed it. but the problem i'm having is everytime i goto start the game i get this message. THE INSTRUCTION AT 0x05CAB04 REFERENCED MEMORY AT 0x00349000. THE MEMORY COULD NOT BE READ.

this is my comp set up

amd64bit

cpu 4000+

2048 meg of ram

graphic card is a nvidia n7900

if anyone has any idea's it would be grateful thx for your time and help.

The checkboxes come, and after the last checkbox it crashes ?

no i don't get that far i don't get to the checkbox's i start the game up then straight away i get the error message
