fasad 1 Posted February 3, 2007 I'm not familiar with that sound card/chip. Check your drivers, and ensure EAX is off before turning on HW acceleration. Unfortunately I don't know of any audio options you can change in OFP other than hardware/EAX and volume. It could be a maximum sound channel issue... The easiest option is not worrying about it. I get a trivial 3fps gain when using audio hardware acceleration. If you are having no other audio issues I'd not stress. I suspect you have an audio chip that uses the CPU to do the work anyway. Your CPU is powerful enough to handle a little extra work, given OFP will run on a <1ghz machine. I can't use audio HW acceleration in ArmA without whacky sound issues, so I feel your pain.
