Is there a difference between the Czech and German

Sorry if this has been posted before - I searched, but couldn't find what I wanted.

Is there any difference between them? Which do you recommend? How big is the download? Or should I wait until the 505 release and order it from the UK? I live in the US.

i can only speak to the sprocket download (cz version). i'm in the usa. it's 2.7gbs, and didn't take too long to dl. iirc, it maxed out my dl connection - 550/kb. it cost $44.50 and i used visa debit. i haven't had any technical problems with the sprocket download system/setup.

the only copy protection it has is an online activation whenever you install it. it could be a pain if you have to reinstall a lot or the activation site is down, but it sure beats starforce or securerom, imo.

the english patch works fine with only a few spelling errors from what i've seen - tutorials and first mission. sickboy's done a fine job on that language patch<thanks sickboy!>. hopefully the english patch can become independent of a particular arma patch in the future. (does that make sense?)

the uk release is on feb 16th, i believe. no date for a us release - no us publisher has been announced yet. so if you want arma anytime soon it'll be czech or german now or brit next month. i would imagine 505 will start a download service for the english version when their release gets going.
