Russkie 0 Posted December 18, 2006 I recently had to reboot my entire computer system because my desktop was completely sabotaged making it impossible to navigate. I have a system restore system on my computer making data recovery from a crash possible. when I recovered my programs, I tried to run OFP once again, and it returns back to the desktop giving me a "Bad serial number" sign. Do I have to reinstall OFP, because I think the recovery system deleted my registrys, so OFP disc thinks I don't have OFP installed?
456820 0 Posted December 18, 2006 Uninstall then reinstall the game. A fresh install seems to always fix most bugs that flashpoint has.
Neptune333 0 Posted December 19, 2006 The exact same thing just happened to me, and I was coming here to post about it. Some "EXE RE-Router" malware that renders every executable file useless. I don't hold grudges, but I want to track these people down so I can beat them to death. I was hoping there was a way to fix this without reinstalling everything again, because it gets all the way to the introduction screen before the error pops up..? But I assume there isn't. Its just that I have ton of addons, mods, and missions I have to keep track of. Just move, copy, and paste I guess not that big of a deal.
Rhodite 3 Posted December 25, 2006 If you have purchased a legitimate copy of OFP, but have lost your serial number you can contact Codemasters Directly and they will provide a key. In fact if I recall they send you a manual which has the key on it.
