thy_raven 0 Posted December 11, 2006 I start arma normally and things look fine, as i play more and more the objects around me seem to become single textured and look less and less sharp, until it looks like i'm playing something from the 60's i have put all setting on normal and Low and the same still happens. the game just becomes unplayably poor my specs are AMD 2500+ 64 bit (around a 2.2ghz i think) Nvidia Geforce 6600 GT with latest drivers and tested with older drivers 1 Gig of DDR ram Windows XP i've tryed forcing tripple buffering, and tryed disabling Vsync but neither helped. personally i'm compleatly at a loss, can anyone out there help?? JackHorner 0 Posted December 11, 2006 What texture setting do you use, low, normal, high? Im pretty sure you are running out of video memory. Try playing it with textures set to very low and see if it happens as fast or if it stops. If it stops turn up textures one notch and try again until you find where your gfx card craps out. -CS-SOBR-1st-I-R- 0 Posted December 11, 2006 I hope this gets improved through future patches... BIS can rely on everyone to spend 600-900 Euros to get a system that fits ArmA
