DieAngel 0 Posted December 2, 2006 could it be possible to have dual vga output stereoscopic 3D support? so peoples like me that own an HMD (head mounted display) can enjoy the stereo 3D ? i tried to use the nvidia stereo3D driver but ArmA do not accept it at all (blue screen of death even with the stereo function deactivated, i had to uninstall the stereo3D driver plugin)
DieAngel 0 Posted December 2, 2006 any devs around here? how hard would it be to implement it?

mazza 1 Posted December 4, 2006 Very interesting...think you need slightly different aspects for aerials.  There are those folk who can do it without the special glasses.  But I think its a cool idea A 3D map would be good too with the ability to digitise lines and label points e.g  for waypoints.  Perhaps integrate VMRL views of ground DTMs.  Sounds possible Edit: http://www.parallelgraphics.com/products/cortona/ for for an external viewer
DieAngel 0 Posted December 5, 2006 ? not sure what you mean... i just got my hmd, gonna be hard to get used to it i think... EDIT i managed to get ArmA to load with the nvidia stereo driver by forcing it to one cpu (athlon X2 here) so far its seems it is just translating the 3D scene aswell as the UI to the right, here is one frame of the left eye when in ironsight view: yes it's weird, and the right eye picture is just even more ofset to the right. Any dev could comment on this?
