So I was on Kolgujev yesterday....

One of the local villagers told me these guys are part of the Kolgujev Territory Force. I hope to show more pictures of them later.

I didn't know that Kolgujev had a civilian population. To me it's been a ghost island which the military has built some bases on.

From what I heard the KTF mostly consists of ethnic Kolgujevians from neighbouring islands.

The problem with EDF is that I ran into some things which are beyond my capabilities. That's why EDF isn't done yet. This is a fairly simple addon which should be released within a week or so depending on how things go in college which starts next week.

Yeah but if some stuff is beyond my capabilities I can't help it. Besides this is only a small project, infantry, JAM weapons and a vehicle or two maybe.

They are not the official army of Kolgujev. They are only there for peacekeeping and fight communist insurgents on the island. There's very little support, very little money and very little personnel available.

Pity about the EDF guys definately was looking forward to them what type of issues held you up on those..the reason I ask... none of those same issues are gonna show up with these too?

The fact that they needed a new set of firearms. I totally suck with firearms and the coding of them. Plus there were some other things like the UR-416 that couldn't be finished because I have no interior resources.

EDF will be released at some point but I have no idea when. KTF uses JAM weapons and the vehicle that I have planned is now almost completely modelled including interior. So don't expect the same problems to occur with the KTF pack.

There a like a billon weapons packs already out....Jackals, Lasers, LLW, Ofrp, etc... I'm sure one of the many could have fit your needs... besides, most guys are going to end up swapping the out for the weapons they want them to have anywayz when they make a mission with them.. the UR-416 could come at a later date. Its just a shame to shelve another project that actually shows promise and has gathered interest...of course you can do what you'd like its just a shame to see work good work go to waste

Yeah but then I got a billion people complaining they have to download a seperate weapon pack or that I will only use a few weapons from a big pack so I would prefer using a weapon pack I made myself. Plus I would like to include a unique set of firearms, not just another AK-47, PKM or whatever you can fill in over here.

Well the work is far from wasted. It's not that it will never be released, just at a later moment. Don't worry about it, it will be released at some point.
