Patching Issues

I've recently installed OFP on a new PC but am confused with patching as I've got the original three disks (CWC, Gold Edition and Resistance) not the GOTY edition.

I installed CWC, then Gold Edition.  This added Red Hammer and patched CWC up to 1.3.  I then installed Resistance which then showed I was up to 1.75.  I then patched this up to 1.96.

However, if I load up the game using the original CWC disk it shows the version as still at 1.3.  If I load the game using the Resistance disk it shows 1.96.

If I try to patch up CWC to 1.46 it gives an error saying I have numerous corrupt or modified files.  Should I assume that I'm fully patched up and just play from the Resistance disk or do I still, somehow, need to patch CWC to 1.46 - and if so how do I avoid the errors?

unless you're planning on running CWC, then i'd say there's no problem... if resistance is patched to 1.96 and running smoothly, then everything should work ok... although best to check

Well, using the Resistance disk I can still access the CWC and Red Hammer single player campaigns as well as get online so maybe there is nothing further I need to do. I'll just exclusively use the Resistance disk.

If you want to play CWC online then I'd suggest that you do a clean install & patch in order.

i.e. 1.10 (CWC) > 1.30 (Red Hammer) > 1.46 > 1.75 (Resi) > 1.96

Patches.

You shouldn't have any further problems
