j w 0 Posted April 26, 2006 Instead of using your IP and port, wich I find hard to find (what it is excactly ), so instead I use Hamachi. Just download, install, run it, choose create new network, name it something, give it a PW, and then let your friends connect. You now have a LAN, over internet! So when you've started hosting your online mission, the others just have to switch from "Internet" to "LAN", in the MP menu, and then they see you! Easy, huh? (Also available in a heck of alot of languages) Regards JW

DBR_ONIX 0 Posted April 27, 2006 Yeh, Hamachi is a very nice program The BattleLAN site looks.. horrible, so doesnt realy do the program much justice at all... Something like Hamachi is really usefull if you are trying to host and you have a router, since you dont have to open ports though your router. - Ben

I don't have a clue how to do it, and with BattleLAN, you must forward ports to get it working. And as you said, the site is terrible Regards JW
Shashman 0 Posted May 5, 2006 I don't know much about connectivity issues and the likes, but nobody can ever see a game I have created in OFP. I give them my port number and IP but they don't see it. Will this programme change anything? Will they be able to see my game?
