aalindo 0 Posted April 10, 2006 Firstly, apologies if there are existing threads i've missed! I have just reinstalled OFP GOTY edition, as i have finally got my broadband connection sorted. Â I had no idea of the mod community that was out there and i want to update my game. Â I'm interested in updating the graphics/physics and also the in game models (keeping it as real as possible (no lasers or spaceships!). Â I haven't got the first idea which mod to start with, or how to go about installing it once it is downloaded. Â Any advice would be appreciated, if its just a redirection to a relevant thread. 456820 0 Posted April 10, 2006 start simple download DXDLL and texture replacements aswell as the vegetation pack by Nogova to give the terrain a nice look ten maybe a skypack. If you have a low end computer download ECP and DMA Army pack and there you go thats what i normally run with aswell as FDF and FFUR 06 had more had to delete loads of mods due to low HD space. Also if you want realism download WGL. thats about all is needed to replace current ofp with much nicer looking ofp of course change your mods to suit your computer specs my ocmputers quite crap but am upgrading soon. So i only have some low spec mods Y2k3 isnt all that smooth on my computer whilst FFUR 06 is test and find out until you get what you want from ofp and its engine.
