But i saw a photo of a russian airdrop regiment one and it had all kinds of sensors/countermeasures on it As far as i could make out it looked like it had a Flir/Optical sensors lookind box and loads of other bits that i cant figure out what they where down the side of it. Plus i cant wait till gnat finalises the b-52 or if anyone else is gonna make a b-52. any plans for the recent one's B-52G i think meh too early/late. Whats the "nam" b-52 that had the external bombs mounted on the rails on the wings.?? jus wonderin oh yeah... whatever happened to that super sexy-lookin hind addon??? Which version do you mean? IL-76PP ECM Plane IL-82 Airborne Command Post A-50A/B AWACS or the A-60 Laser Weapons Testbed There were several other versions made but they were all one offs.  The latest upgraded IL-78 Tankers now do have FLIR but currently they are only fitted to 3 airframes. I'm not aware of any "special ops" versions and Ilyushin haven’t declared any more variants as far as i'm aware.  Although India has recently (2003 - ) upgraded all the avionics in its -76 & -78 fleet. Whats the "nam" b-52 that had the external bombs mounted on the rails on the wings.?? jus wonderin There are 3 out - Gnats and 2 older ones.  One in Vietnam colours, the other in flat green.  All the B52s have the ability to carry weapons on their pylons.  They just need them fitted. oh yeah... whatever happened to that super sexy-lookin hind addon???
