sseagle 0 Posted January 18, 2002 I was just wondering, since many programs use safedisc2, and many of them won't work on certain configurations, why use it? But really, all of the other programs that I know of that use safedisc have numbers/websites to call that, after proving that you do own the game, will offer a download that is safedisc free? Is there any chance of this ever happening, or do the makers want us to use pirated versions, I know I would have no problem doing that, because if my game won't update and therefore I cannot play online, there is no reason to buy the game. Unfortunately I got roped in by a spectacular game with fatal flaws. On another note, I was told that if I delete all cd burning software, that it might work. Here is what I think : I payed extra so that I could burn cd's to make audio cd mixes and backup my hard drive against crashes, so goddammit I will need cd burning software, right? Ok, just thought everyone needed to know my opinion. Please fix this... one way or the other, because this game has too nuch potential. I would appreciate feedback.
