POPKA 0 Posted July 23, 2005 well about a week ago i decided i would restart the prgress on this old mafia mission i was making ages ago, but stopped because i was too inexperianced, but now since i know more about editing ive started it again, im planning to release it some time in the next two weeks, or whenever its finished which could be sooner or later, ok here is the plot so far: You play a petty theif who lives in Petrovice, last night you were playing cards with Don nonameyets son and two other people, one a local crime leader envolved in drugs trafficing and the other is a thief like you. Unluckily for you you managed to get into some debt (5000$, and since you were unable to pay back the dons son at the card game you have to pay him back today by 4pm!, so you have until 4pm to gain 5000$ and get it to the dons son at old creek farm. The Crime leader who was taking part in the card game (known as The boss/TB in this mission) takes advantage of your situation, and says that if you come and work for him that day he will pay you money, you can also steal from buildings to get money, Mug certain people, but the police will come after you if you commit crimes Required addons so far :O fml Civilian addon v1.1 My own addon of Money weapon stall, car sales mans stand etc... thats it  has done list: -Money system -Loads of sounds & vocies -Gunshop & car shop -some dialogs -Police come after you if you fire your weapon in an open street in petrovice (though they dont mind about seeing them) -money bonuses placed in houses etc. -First mafia style mission where you & this guy called Fingers go and kill a drug dealer whos been stealing The Bosses buissness. -Some custom music files - a couple of cutscenes -theres probably more i have forgot about To Do list: -More opertunitys to make money -More Mafia style missions -Intro & outro -more sounds, dialogs, music & cutscenes -Police coming after you for crimes (*almost done) -End the mission -More stuff that hasent occured to me yet If anyone has any ideas for this mission they would be very very helpful Ideas for mini mafia missions would be good as i am finding it hard at the moment to come up with any, (though im sure i will if i think enough) here are some screens of what i have done so far: This is a picture of the Cell phone dialog :- This is a picture of the Money model/Shows the Action menu too that has extra ctions:- This is a small cutscene thing of a man who jumps off a roof to commit suicide, has police shouting at him, sort of an easter egg. POPKA 0 Posted July 23, 2005 i was considering using the Troublemakers, i wasent sure though, i am going to if i see a need for them, i dont want to use fdf mod though as it is easier for me to make a non fdf one. i was also considering crime citys weapon addon, im using regular BIS weapons at the moment though. D.murphy man 0 Posted July 25, 2005 Sounds cool Heres some ideas for mifa missions: You and fingers have to go around the island collecting protection money from shops and such. It all goes fine intill you get to one shop (a pizza shop? ) and then you get attacked by another mifa familys thugs who have forced the business to pay them protection money instead. So you fight of the thugs then fingers tells you to burn the shop down to teach the owner a lesson not to betray 'The Boss' or somthing like that. The Boss wants you to go find some prostitutes for a party hes having, this missions just involes you having to pick up and deliver X ammount of prositutes to his mansion before X ammount of time is up. The boss needs you to steal some top of the range weaponary from an army depot/police armoury/a cargo plane at the air port. This would involve you having to sneak in and grab the weapons then make a run for it whiles police/army chase after you. Then you must loose them some how and drop the weapons of at some secret location The Boss wants to put some pressure on a local gang that is getting a bit too big for its boots so to speak. You have to smash up a few of the gangs cars and burn a few gang houses in a town. And maybe even steal some of there drugs and money and kill X number of gang members. One of the bosses sons has got in a drug debt. Go sort out the dealer. some witness is threating to rat out the bosses dirty dealings to the police. go make sure he dosent say a word (kill him) and erm.. well cant think of any other missions. One of the Boss' most trusted members has been arrested, and is traveling via police convoy to the airport, to be taken off the island. This cannot happen. Ambush the convoy with weapons you would have picked up throughout the mission and afew other gang mmbers, rescue the prisoner, get him to the a safe house in the hills. 2. Assasinate a rival gang leader 3. The Boss wants you to drive him to his summerhouse with 2 of his bodyguards to meet a contact, however you run into another gang mid journey.... "Rival Gang" sounds to GTA IMO....how about assasinate the police chief Looking forward to this mission, seems different I remembered there being a standalone mafia addons somewhere with bodyguards in tuxedos...not sure where though. POPKA 0 Posted July 25, 2005 Also dose anyone know any mafia style music, or music they would think would fit in this mission?, so far i have the following: Ocean colour scene - Hundred mile city Ocean Colour scene - Give me a letter The Castaways - Liar Liar The Hives - Inspection wise 1999 EZ rollers - walk this land James Brown - The Boss :Note i have cut the sizes of each track so the final mission size is smaller so im only using what i need.
