Server Stress Test - ServerMark05

We all know that there is some unknowns when comparing AMD64's to the top end P4s

i "think" P4 with HT will work better then a top end Dual AMD 64

OFP Server is a single process but excels if you assign it a Dedicated CPU

So I was thinking of making a mission to test our servers and gain some actual Bench marks, we all know the CTF servers are more then capable, but the CTI servers do have some problems

So I need some help with making the mission that will test our servers and the use of our server configs

here are some settings for the server using my judgement with CTI based servers

400 AI total on the map

10 MP players (unarmed and walking)

5x5 Row of shilkas (50 AI)

and unarmed A10s that fly over head for the shilka's to shoot

with the other 350 AI have them placed so they have assorted Conflits like snipers shooting troops, troops meet troops ect, basic game play with 350 AI

now for the shilkas, we need them to auto rearm, and the A10s must spawn two A10s for every 1 A10 killed and have the post count of the A10s live and killed posted every few seconds, this multiplyer will help gadge how fast the server creats the new A10s and the end amount at the end of a 5 or 10 min game

now for the players, 10 players with good ping would be required

1 admin who watches and records server input and out put

1 person will watch the shilka's for lag reason

1 person will watch the dysync

and the rest are just there to devide the servers input and out put so we know what the servers sends to each player

the AI Confilts on the map should play out in simular ways every time the map is played, these AI are to stress the CPU since the server needs to think for them

combined with the shilka's firing at an insane rate at multiplying A10s and the servers input and output and FPS we should beable to set up a formulay that shows all the areas we are concerned about and com up with a final score

would look like this

a10s killed

a10s Created

A10a per minute

FPS showing every minute

Input KBs showing every minute

Output KBs showing every minute

total AI's per minute

This is not to say this server is or that server is the fasted

but to actually decide which server setup is the best for Hard core games

I know we want to be prepared for OFP2, and wee need some real time stats from our servers

I'll start making the map and will set up some forums for those who are interested
