Need Sniper Spotting Scope

Recommended Posts

Really kool addon would be a Snipers Spotter to have a Prone only spotting scope with great zoom + a working Laser range finding display incorporated within the reticule. While I'm at it add in NV and Infrared. It should sit on tripod and have limited swivel say 45degree arc. Should fit where Binoculars are normaly carried . This allows the spotter to also carry a radio etc.

Spotter Scope should only work when a Sniper is in the Group !

Spooky Gunship addon has as part of its display when targeting area to be suppressed a readout of distance to targeted area & Degrees. So this would work as simulated readout.

FireflyPL your basic spotting scope is purrrrfect when finished on a low tripod for prone use only. with a readout of distance and while im wishing an anemometer readout for wind speed or a seperate anemometer (total eye candy) . Very important that it be linked so only usable if a sniper is in the group. (not someone with a sniper rifle.) Makes it a 2 MP unit required to use it. Zoom needs to be twice to three times that of any sniper rifle.

Wow nice scope.

Hmmm well I say the IR dos'nt have to be super realistic; using the NVG in DXDLL, the player models seems to glow brighter then the enviroment. rock.gif

Lol but then thats just nv. I dont think it is possible to put some kind of filter on it. I believe it would be green no matter what. Though I am no expert so I could very well be wrong.
