Luvac Zantor 0 Posted January 11, 2002 How can I place AI units on a map to where they DONT MOVE AT ALL, but will stay put and fire on enemies approaching. One way I'm thinking of combating base rapes is placing non player AI where the vehicles are, but I need them to NOT MOVE. Any suggestions? I'm new be gentle. Dr Jekyll 0 Posted January 11, 2002 I think that either a "HOLD" waypoint or a "SENTRY" Waypoint will make a unit stant it's ground no matter what. Try checking OFPEditingCenter.
Luvac Zantor 0 Posted January 11, 2002 I tried that, as soon as an enemy helicopter is in sight, they take off running over stuff while shooting.... :/
Silencer 0 Posted January 11, 2002 put down "never fire"
Dr Jekyll 0 Posted January 12, 2002 </span><table border="0" align="center" width="95%" cellpadding="3" cellspacing="1"><tr><td>Quote (Silencer @ Jan. 12 2002,01:42)</td></tr><tr><td id="QUOTE">put down "never fire"<span id='postcolor'> That wouldn't really make much sense since their purpose is to shoot against whatever enemy they see WITHOUT moving an inch. reaper 0 Posted January 12, 2002 If you use a sentry waypoint, the should not move at all. If its a vehicle, just don't give it any gas. You can also use the disableai command: unitname disableai "MOVE"

Stingeragent 0 Posted March 25, 2002 ROFL, They gave you the hardest things to do. All you gotta do is put in an empty vehicle, and then a soldier, and tell him this moveingunner vehiclename ..he don't need a commander or driver, he will still shoot, lol...
