walker 0 Posted November 9, 2004 Hi Skype. From the same people who invented Kazaa http://www.skype.com/ It is free to download. For PC to PC calls over the net it is free. For calls to land lines it is local rate for international calls. You have to pre-buy some minutes from skype for land line connections. It is called Skype out. Fully encrypted voice PC to PC and PC up to the point of land line connection. Works with mobiles too. Includes file transfer and text chat over the internet aso encypted. Normaly over computer the sound is better quality than your phone. Occasionaly the quality gets bubbly due to net storms just disconnect and reconnect usualy restores it. Best bit of coms kit you will ever buy  wait a minute its free   Kind Regards Walker
Black Knight 0 Posted November 9, 2004 Thanks , The reason why I wanted more info on this was because I wanted to call people on their cell phone but when I checked the "Rates" I found out it would cost more than the deal I have right now ... but it seems like a good deal when calling to regular landline telephones.
