ebns72 0 Posted September 2, 2004 Quick question-what counts more against performance (lags the cpu more) Vertices or faces? I am trying to make a lag-free forest, and I am wondering if I should optimize it to reduce the number of vertices i use or use the number of faces I use. BraTTy 0 Posted September 3, 2004 I've asked this before and was told that the faces count most because they are drawn.But then someone said many vertex's isn't good either.I would say keep the face count down and of course low faces is usually low vertex too.
