Uber-Pea 0 Posted June 9, 2004 I searched the forum by search function and manually so don't scream at me 4 asking this. On a lan party this WE we wanted to play ofp, but my friend couldnt. Firsth problem: After a few minutes of playing his screen turned grey, though he could still shoot, but didnt see anything. Distance to leader was shown as 99999999. Second: Sometimes he couldnt move his mouse anymore. Keyboard movement and shootin still possible. Now I'm pretty sure this was FADE, but our versions are legal, and we don't use no-cd's. When he joined my server, it said something like "And remember, original versions do not become worse"... During the playing we recognized that my friend could start the game without inserting a cd!!!! Not possible for me. We have also used different cd-keys of course. Please, help us out, and remember WE ARE NO STUPID FEKKIN CRACKERS, we always buy legal versions, especially ofp as it is a great game and got cheap now. He installed 1.96 and a lot of addons (BAS De/Ra 1.55 and others). The error didnt come in every mission, he means it depends on the mission. So I made a very simple editor mp mission for testing, you know, some enemies, 2 waypoints and an not present/east end1 trigger. Still same bug. Please help. If its not fade i think it may have sth to do with his graphicscrad, its a radeon 9600 or 9800 Pro forgot it now. He has also an Athlon CPU and ati mainboard. Distance to leader 99999999? Unlike the Earth, OFP maps are flat. Maybe he fell off the edge. You said you made a simple test mission and it happened there, too. Where are you storing unofficial addons? In mod folders or in one of OFP's folders (OFP\Addons or OFP\RES\Addons)? If you run OFP without any extra addons whatsoever and try out your test mission, does it still happen? Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
