"bad serial number given at setup"

i changed my OS from ME to windows 2000, and now when i try to start ofp it says "Bad Serial Number Given at Setup"

im guessing this is happening b/c the registry entry for ofp was deleted when my OS changed

how do i fix the problem? (i dont want to have to reinstall ofp, resistance, and all the patches unless i absolutely have to)

The reg keys   gone and there is no way 2 get them back Reinstall.

renamae you current ofp folder to something e.g. from OFP to OFP_OLD. then install ofp to folder OFP. When installed just delete folder OFP and rename folder OFP_OLD into OFP. This will work because it worked for me many times

Wow that is a great idea void_false.I reinstall OFP when upgrading and I never thought of that.

Some games have a registry key within its folder and you just click on it.

Some game like EA let you run a setup and reenter a serial number

Ea games has a eReg folder with the stuff in there
