denoir 0 Posted April 22, 2004 It could be much worse than Spielberg. Sure it will be hollywood, but he still has a level of quality in his movies. Now imagine if Michael Bay (Armageddon, Pearl Harbor, Bad Boys...) had directed it
brgnorway 0 Posted April 22, 2004 The story after the munich debacle is interesting as well; the mossad hunting down and killing each and every member involved in it all over the world. Â I predict it will end with a 'feel good - revenge' montage like in "The Sum of All Fears" that tied up the loose ends in the story. Â You can pretty much expect a Spielberg film to end on a high note, with the bad guys defeated at the hands of their victims... I allways thought that there is 1 of the terrorists still living, saw a documentary about the incident. I hope the film will be done in a deacent manner, honouring the dead, and keeping the facts straight. EDIT: Yes, 1 terrorist got away, more details about the operation to track them terrorists down here Sadly, the story of one of mossad's most succesful operations ends with one of their biggest failures; the killing of the wrong man in connection with the munich massacre. I have an old book on the story lying around, really shoddy journalism, but I'm gonna see if I can dig it up... It happened in Lillehammer (the olympic town) in Norway: Quote[/b] ]Wednesday, June 24, 1998 Published at 16:03 GMT 17:03 UK World: Middle East Norway issues arrest warrant for former Mossad agent Prosecutors in Norway have issued an international arrest warrant for a former Israeli intelligence agent, suspected of involvement in the mistaken killing of a Moroccan man nearly twenty-five years ago. A spokesman said the retired agent, Michael Harari, was wanted for questioning about the shooting, in the Norwegian town of Lillehammer in 1973. Mossad agents are believed to have mistaken the victim a Moroccan waiter, Ahmed Bouchiki for a PLO guerrilla involved in the killing of eleven Israeli athletes at the Munich Olympics the previous year. Five men were jailed after the shooting but Michael Harari was never charged. The prosecutor's office said the arrest warrant had been issued before the twenty-five-year statute of limitations on the crime expires next month.
