ChizzleOwnizzle 0 Posted February 28, 2004 Let me tell you alittle story. I got my first OFP game from a retail salesmen, through a friend who owned a store. I was very interested in the new game, got few OFP posters. I think I was one of the first people who got the game in Sweden, cuz the game was released few days after I got it. I loved the game, but played so much that I scrached the CD. So I bought GOTY version, and then I had even more fun. Today I bought a graphic card, and I installed it, but OFP wouldn't run. So I decided to reinstall it. I poped the GOTY Cd's in and once was so scrached that I couldn't install it, no problem there I had the orignal CD. So I put the Orignal CD and waited, about 3/4 of the installation I heard a loud BANG! I thought my Graphic card was broken, so I took a look at the CD driver and it wouldn't open with the button, I noticed that I could pull it out and what I saw was the Original CD Cracked in to pieaces. Looks like someone took a hammer and smashed it. So my question is: WHATTA HELL?!!
cozza 24 Posted February 28, 2004 This is not really a proplem anyone can help. Sounds like the heat of the comp just made the CD expand a little til it just finally could last no more. Best thing to do is to buy the game again

Major Fubar 0 Posted February 29, 2004 I know you're talking about making a copy of a legit version, but I'll have to close this thread before it gets into possible discussion of warez methods. If anyone can help out ChizzleOwnizzle with any of his problems, feel free to PM or email him.
