benus 0 Posted January 10, 2004 I perhaps gonna buy an AUDIGY 2 ZS http://www.soundblaster.com/products/Audigy2ZS_platinum_pro/ because I had a lot of problems with my Nforce 2 soundstorm with other games. OFP works perfect with it. so I wanted to ask if someone can tell me his/her experiences with this card. because it is really importanfor me that it works with OFP (EAX e.g.). Judge Rabbi 0 Posted January 10, 2004 Do you really want to go for that (rather expensive) platinum pack? It will play OFP audio correctly, without any annoying crackiling problems or PC restarts. A Sound Blaster Audgy 2 is perfect for OFP, and hopefully I will get one so I can finally play the damn game with no PC restarts or crackiling noise Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Judge Rabbi 0 Posted January 10, 2004 Slightly more expensive than the Audigy 2. I see no major difference in performance. EAX is always weird with OFP. I can hear footsteps from 1KM away! I don't have a Audigy 2...but my friend does. And it runs OFP with ZERO crashes or audio crackiling. Hense why i'm suggesting that version. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
