How to order the use of a specific weapon

According to prismas strategy guide I should order my LAW soldiers to select their M16s as weapons in the search and destroy mission. How do I do that? I find no order menue selections for using a particular weapon.

You need to do it one soldier at a time. It's menu 6 (Action).

i have same problem. How can i order individual soldier?

Use the F1-F12 keys to select specific soldiers. Do not select multiple soldiers, else the Action (6) menu won't contain any instructions. Once you've issued one soldier with an instruction select another soldier and repeat.
