Black crosshair in map view

Hi ppl,

I would like to remove the black crosshair that show up even in Veteran mode, when a Player is in a Tank/Air config class addon. Apparently, this is a hard coded feature that shows the Player's position.

I was told that it can be removed from the main resource but then the feature will be removed entirely in the game. Would appreciate if a subject-matter expert could show how this can be done.
