Making new explosive bullet cloud classes

I'm trying to make an explosive bullet cloud that's not as... well big and obstructive as the typical grenade/bullet30/25mm cannon type cloud. Is there a way to define a new class so it's used instead of the default?

That way can not be changed. You can not make new class explosion. But If you disable regular explosion effect - to make explosive = 0 to ammo class - you can put any new effect by script and eventhandler.

Do you have pictures or video footage about bullet30/25mm impact explosion effect. I also wanted to change this, but do not know how it looks in real.

I'm not sure really. My mod isn't really so much based on a real weapon more or less I just want to limit the amount of smoke and still retain the "explosive flash" that explosive=1 projectiles create in the dark without the wall of smoke that inhibits your ability to aim.
