Imshi-Yallah 0 Posted December 13, 2003 Just in case anyone thought there were no interesting scripting opportunities for Soviet addons, theres an interesting article in this months AirForces monthly on several of the more obscure specialised Mi-8 variants. These include command posts, airborne and airmobile (i.e. ground based CPs that are built around a specially equipped and fitted helicopter which can then fly at ultra low level towards the FEBA to maintain effective command contact with highly mobile forces.Image here There were also two minelaying versions: Info here As well as several airborne jamming and ECM platforms which I feel offer tremendous potential to deepen OFP gameplay (not least very interesting destroy the jammer network to re-enable BAS/COC scripted effects such as CAS artillery and airlift support.)
