Think that 3Dmark2003 is the bug..

BUT try lowering the aperture size to 64 or 32 in bios, it dosn't make any huge diff anyways.. as with 256mb on gfx card you dont swap memory to main memory anyways..

As for SBA if there is usaly an option in bios to enable it.. But it could be so that it is disabled on the FX5600..

Try this registry entry:

http://lee.plankton.ch/detonator-lock.zip

It activates the AGP settings menu in the detonator driver.

There you can set AGP 2x, 4x, 8x, Fast Writes and Sideband adressing.

MfG Lee

Thx Lee, but How does it works ? I have downloaded the REG files...

THX LEE, I resolve the Side Band Addressing Bug...

For Aperture Size, is set in 0 in windows, but when I change in BIOS from 256 to less, I see the game is more laggy...

Perhaps this fonction is activeded only when game runs...

I realy don't know...

Thx for all you help...

Can anyone explain me what is the purpose of Sideband Adressing ?

Hard one to explain..

With sideband addressing, AGP utilizes 8 extra "sideband" address lines which allow the graphics controller to issue new addresses and requests simultaneously while data continues to move from previous requests on the main 32 data/address lines.

Without it you don't get the max transferrate on the AGP bus.. and ALL AGP v3.0 cards MUST support it..

Quote[/b] ]since I change with the A7N8X-X one I have thes strange bugs...

There seems to be alot of peps that have problems with the A7N8X-X .. http://www.nforcershq.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=81795#81795

AGP reports with my system

3Dmark03

Total Local Video Memory   128 MB

Total Local Texture Memory   128 MB

Total AGP Memory   53 MB

Sandra 2004

Model : ALL-IN-WONDER 9800 SERIES

WHQL Level : 1

Total/Free Memory : 125MB / 117.6MB, 94%

Total/Free Video Memory : 125MB / 117.6MB, 94%

Total/Free AGP Memory : 53MB / 53.1MB, 100%

Total/Free Texture Memory : 178MB / 170.7MB, 96%

So 3dmark03 reports it correctly but doesn't add up the total..
