vM Genadier 2 Posted November 18, 2001 I had the same problem I'm quessing. It was my Norton Virus Protection running in the background. Seems it checks all incoming and outgoing material and was slowing me down. With it enabled I would get pings of 500ms on up. RN Malboeuf 12 Posted November 19, 2001 no offence but every Gammer out there should know that Anit Virus programs should be truned off to allow for smother game play, your not going to get a virus playing a game it does scan every program and file being run by you computer it can degrade you FPS by 20% (low end machines say 300 mhz) and 2 % on high end machines (800+) Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
