eyes 0 Posted December 19, 2001 I know BIS aren't responsible for RH and so this forum probably isn't ideal but: Has anyone else had this problem with RH. When starting the campaign as the first intro starts I get the error: Cannot open object data3d\dum_mest_in.p3d I click ok and it carries on fine and I haven't had any other problems (except stupid missions that won't end cos there's one soldier hiding on the other side of the island forcing me to start again). Bloodshot 0 Posted December 20, 2001 Are you using the Gold UPGRADE rather than the full Gold product? If so, did you install it over a fresh installation of the original game, or one that has patches and updates already added to it? Some of the patches in the past have been known to interfere with proper installation of newer upgrades, and can be fixed by re-installing from scratch without the earlier patches! eyes 0 Posted December 21, 2001 finally found this thread again despite not having email notification! Yes I did install the upgrade over a version already patched to version 1.3. Surely they don't expect everyone to reinstall the game continually - I've had it since the first day of European release and have never reinstalled it (didn't have time for the beta patches).
