Change character

Im currently working on a campaign and there are certain missions that i would like people to have a choice of role that they play in the mission i.e. tank commander or black op etc.

Dose anybody know how to do this?, i'm sure somebody has already used this in a mission/campaign.

Well one way i could think is to make 3 missions, all really the same just with some name and story changes, but each mission has a different charactor and slightly alternate sconario - Mission1 has player 1, M2 has player 2 and so on, then make a mission where it has 3 or 4 possible endings, ending 1 take you to mission 1 ending 2 for mission 2, ending 3 to mission 3 and loose for loose.

(these ending triggered by what ever you want, actions, radio, just stepping into a sertin area or what have you lined up)

In the campaign description.ext is where you assign the endings to what ever mission but you probibly know that...

class mission name: MissionDefault

{

noAward=true;

end1 = Blackop;

end2 = tankcom;

end3 = wot evah;

end4 = ;

end5 = ;

end6 = ;

lost = wotevah;

template = choicemission.island;

(.island being either noe, cain, eden, intro or abel +or addon islands name)

well thats one idea anyways...

Or there maybe some simple scripting way of set playercommander or summit like that but i dont know of it sad_o.gif
