Marshal 0 Posted August 14, 2003 Hi, I run an OFP league called TNT - Troop, Nukes and Tactics (http://www.tntleague.com). I have a couple of maps which dont seem to work on our server, even though they work fine on individual computers and also other clan servers. We get the message 'cannot find EditorUpdate102' when we boot up the map and then it just goes back to the map selection screen. The server DOES have the file and we have tried various combinations, placing it in the res/addons folder or the usual ofp/addons folder. The old EditorUpgrade102 is also in the normal ofp/addons folder. Has anybody out there got a solution please? Cheers Marshal Law
theavonlady 2 Posted August 14, 2003 Which version of the EU do you have? If this is for OFP 1.75 or greater, you should only have Kegetys' Editor Addon V1.11 and none of the others.
Marshal 0 Posted August 14, 2003 WE use 1.91. Where do I get that from? We use editorupgrade102, editorupdate102.
benu 1 Posted August 14, 2003 You should only use ONE of them at a time, and that is editorupdate102. Iirc there are two versions out with the same filename. Use the one that is 223.722 bytes.
stobbsy 0 Posted September 4, 2003 this is due probably to the editorupgrade 102 addon is missing from the mission.sqm file. I 've had this before. Make sure its listed at the top of the mission.sqm with the rest of the addons. When Hosted on a non dedicated server, the mission probably came up with a grey "ok" box when loaded and probably said that this addon was missing. Dedicated Servers however do not like this, so the go back to the mission select screen after mission has been loaded. This is usually due to the mission being "built" in the multiplayer editor as it dont always add addons to the mission.sqm. You Really need to build in the single player editor. To fix you need to unpbo the mission and put the resulting folder in the user/missions folder and open up in Single Player Editor and preview. When game starts exit back to editor and save. Check in mission.sqm in notepad and editor upgrade 102 should be at the top in the addons section. This way you can also fix the "missing Groups" error known with the UCE addons. This is what the problem is.
