Soda- 0 Posted September 11 I am having trouble getting my microphone to work in Arma Reforger. I am trying to play this game on a Windows 10 Computer. Things I have Tried. - Configured and Verified the Microphone I wish to use is set as the default device in windows settings - Verified my microphone is set to my default microphone specified in Windows settings in Steam settings. - Disabled all unused recording devices. At this point I have tried everything I can think of, and I am completely out of ideas on what to do to get my microphone working again. To remove any doubt, I wish to make it clear that I am only having issues with getting my microphone to work in Arma Reforger and Arma Reforger Alone. My Microphone works perfectly fine in all other games I play such as Valorant, Counter Strike and Ground Branch. My microphone also works in Discord and Teamspeak 3. I would also like to politely suggest that Arma Reforger should have in-game settings for selecting, configuring and verifying microphone functionality within Arma Reforger. Soda- 0 Posted September 11 I think I managed to figure out the issue. Most likely a driver conflict with a driver called Asus Utility. I uninstalled that driver and I was able to get my Microphone working at least with local chat. I'll check radio chat, if thats all good ill close this post. Des_Astor 0 Posted October 21 I have run into the same issue. Sometimes my mic will work and then it doesn't. the change can happen within the one session without any hardware or software alts being made. During the session, i can go to Windows 10 voice recorder and make recordings but it is not working in reforger. I was in a session when my mic stopped working, exited, reinstalled app and mods, returned to the session and the mic worked. The next session it worked for a while and then stopped. Des_Astor 0 Posted October 27 I have had this issue also. I think the solution is to (if on PC) go to your Steam settings > voice and check to see if your hardware selection in Steam matches your PC sound hardware settings.
