Vigor Is Broken 0 Posted August 17 Here’s a relatively simple fix which addresses a number of issues affecting players of all types. Give every player going into an encounter a 100% xp boost. Then reduce that boost based on the equipment they are bringing in as follows: Weapons: White: -5% Green: -10% Blue: -15% Purple: -20% Gold: -25% Consumables: White: -1% Green: -3% Blue: -5% Purple: -7% Gold: -9% So, a brand new player with no plans and crappy guns would go into a match with: 1 Es (-5%) 2 Bandages (- 2%) 1 Painkiller (-3%) They are earning an extra 90% xp on the run. A sweat with all the plans and all guns in the world would go in with: Bugle (-20%) 2 Armor (-18%) 2 Ports (-18%) 2 Rads (-18%) 3 Addren (-14%) 4 Caff (-20%) 3 painkiller (-9%) 3 bandage (-3%) 3 disinfectant (-3%) They get no additional XP bonus from the run. Ammo doesn’t count. Whatever you find in the mission or take off someone doesn’t count. Here are the in game effects: Players with less gear go up levels quicker. Players with excessive amounts of gear go up slower. Players who’ve reached level 50 don’t care one way or the other. In game POI with weapons are more attractive. Looting killed players is more important. This will cut down on excessively geared up sweats early in the season as they grind for 50, making for fairer matches.
