Major Fubar 0 Posted June 10, 2003 I've got a weird sound problem with my OFP at the moment, which only appeared after I upgraded my machine to Win XP Pro (from Win 98SE) and then reinstalled OFP: All of the sounds (AI voices, vehicle sounds, gunfire etc.) seem to be playing too slow, low pitch. Like when you slide the voice pitch down in your player settings, but it seems to be applied to all ingame sounds...anyone experience this, or know what causes it? I copied over my User folder from my old installation - could this be the problem?
theavonlady 2 Posted June 10, 2003 I copied over my User folder from my old installation - could this be the problem? Backup your OFP\flashpoint.cfg and OFP\Users\playerName\userinfo.cfg files, delete them, run the Preferences program, click AutoDetect, run OFP and see if that helps. theavonlady 2 Posted June 10, 2003 Well obviously it would be handy to know what sound card you have? What drivers? Etc......
