luker27 0 Posted April 6, 2003 Hi. I'm having problems installing the 1.91 patch. I originally had trouble loading up Resistance as I always received Data CRC errors. However after reading the Avon Lady's FAQ and searching the forums I was able to find a work around and install Resistance by copying the whole CD to my HDD and deleting the checksum file, so my current version is 1.75. My question is - Can I do the same thing with the self-extracting exe file for 1.91? I know the reason why I get CRC errors is due to a compatability issue with my Shuttle AK39 motherboard which I still cannot correct. If I simply ignore the errors it corrupts my game and I need to reinstall. All thoughts/suggestions appreciated. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
