mumbled_frog 0 Posted March 27, 2003 I have searched the forums and around the web but can't find the answer. I have never downloaded a patch before so don't know how to install it I have resistance v1.75 and have downloaded the 1.91 patch from the codemasters website. I clicked on the file I assume is the patch (as the only other file is a readme ) where I get the message 'Operation Flashpoint is not installed or is corrupted on your computer'. This message appears wherever I place the file. I would apprieciate any help anyone can give me Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
theavonlady 2 Posted March 27, 2003 1. There are 2 versions of the 1.91 patch - one for the Resistance CD, another for the OFP GOTY edition CD. Did you download the correct one? 2. Also, did you enocunter any errors during the install? 3. Last, are you using an original CD? If your answers are: 1. Yes, correct patch downloaded. 2. No. 3. Yes. then I suggest you do a full uninstall and reinstall from scratch. One last question: can you play with the installed version you have now or do you get an error running OFP as well? What I may have done is downloaded the wrong version I was unaware of two patches available, however the patch I downloaded stated it was for Resistance yet the file name is 'OFP_GOTYPatch_1_91' - which covers both versions of the patch you mentioned. finally, I am using an original CD Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

mumbled_frog 0 Posted March 27, 2003 I have both versions of the 1.91 patch now. All I need to know is how to actually install it to update my current version of Resistance (1.75) to what I want, 1.91. Do I simply put the patch file into a certain folder, if yes which one, or do I have to run it? If I have to run it, I always get a message popping up saying 'Operation Flashpoint is not installed or is corrupted'. I can currently play v1.75 via an offical CD, I have downloaded various addons though...would this affect anything? Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
