Arma 3 Video Options Issues

Recommended Posts

Good evening,

Recently I have come across an issues within my video options more specifically my Overall, Object, Shadow, and PIP view distance modifier. This is a terrible explanation but this is quite literally exactly what happened. I loaded Arma 3 through the launcher and my pre-selected mod setup and etc. After selecting my map of choice I noticed that all trees, buildings, and etc. were GONE. I could only see what was relatively RIGHT infront of me. So I immediately went to my view distance modifier and when I tried to fix it ALL of my bars turn ORANGE and a message on the bottom says the following "We noticed one or more extreme values that may have an significant impact on performance". I disabled ACE View Distance thinking that might have been the culprit but nothing changed. I've loaded the game with NO MODS, nothing changed. I've made this account literally tonight to find a solution because I seem to can't work my way around this one. If anyone has any, please share them.. thank you.

Also forgot to mention I've tried changing my quality of objects etc..to LOW and this didn't help. I have changed NO settings, changed NO graphics settings.. I just loaded the game as I would any other day and this problem literally came out of nowhere.

Tried Verifying the game files in steam? It seems like somethings missing.

I just tried that bro and it told me I had 44 files that failed to validate and would be reaquired. Loaded the game up and still the same issue. Im wondering if there was an update or something because other then that I have literally downloaded or changed nothing as I mentioned before.. this is just weird.

But thanks for the suggestion!
